FAQ

  • When are commissions open?

    • Commissions are open for a small period of time, which I accept offers in the order they’re received. Once I reach capacity for available spots they’ll be closed until all commissions are completed and any other projects. Go to the bottom of any page to sign up for my email list and you’ll be notified in advance when they’re opening and closing.

  • What’s the process like for a custom painting or something else custom made?

    • If you check out my Commissions page at the top, you’ll see a full explanation on what the process is like. I’ll typically accept any commission request as long as it’s able to be done in my style.

  • What else do you send in emails?

    • JUNK! Just kidding. I just let you know when new things are coming to the shop or deals for gift-giving holidays, etc. Every once in a while I might throw a discount at ya, just for funsies.

  • How do you justify your prices?

    • Each original painting takes time, skill, effort, materials, and emotion. When you purchase a painting, you’re investing in the artist and their ability to make a sustainable income from their craft. You won’t get the same painting from any 2 artists even if done in similar styles and techniques, which creates rarity in what we create. All these factors contribute to the cost of an original painting, and can vary depending on the painting in question.

    • Products with printed art are priced as reasonably as possible, while also considering the cost of production and shipping, as well as taxes and a crumb of profit. The products are priced as low as possible to offer value to customers at any price range.

  • I can still haggle you on the prices though, right?

    • Nope, sure can’t!

  • Do you run sales on your art?

    • Short answer: no. I do sometimes give out coupon codes for the products in my shop (during special offer periods) but the original paintings will remain the price they’re listed at. This is so I can keep the value of my work where it belongs and still offer affordable options on the rest of the items in my shop.

  • Will you ever decide to have one niche instead of all these different types of products?

    • Never. My brain will simply not allow it. Too many ideas to limit myself.
