Commissions are CLOSED!
For 2025, commissions will not be open to the public to reach my goal of creating more original artwork and focusing my efforts on learning new crafts to bring even more products to the shop!
Give me your email at the bottom of the page (“Get Updates”) and I’ll let you know when commissions open and close.
Please keep in mind, all commissions will be done in my art style. I can accommodate almost any request but it will not be a copy of anyone else’s work or style.
The Process:
Phase 1: Concepts and Pricing
You might have the perfect idea for a painting, a pair of shoes or a bag that you want designed, a skateboard you want wood-burned or painted, a wooden hanging sign or plaque. Whatever it is, you’ll give me all the details of your dream art piece in the form below. Within 24 hours I’ll send you an email clarifying all the details you gave, getting any more info I might need, and then provide a final price for the final product (including shipping costs and tax). Once we’ve agreed on the concept details, I’ll send an agreement that outlines the total timeframe of your project, pricing breakdown, and some terms and conditions. Once that’s done, you’ll receive an invoice for 50% of the cost as a down payment. This is required for any art to begin.
Phase 2: The Making
Once the down payment has been accepted, I’ll start working on a sketch for the general concept, get any supplies I might need, plan out my next steps, and get to work. You may choose for your piece to be a complete surprise, or I can send you 3-4 updates to show each major stage. These stages are sketch, midway, and finished product. I do allow up to 3 revisions to be made. Any additional revisions after the first 3 will require additional compensation, which is discussed in the contract. At any point in the process I’m always an email away if you have any questions, so communication can still be open between updates.
Phase 3: Finalization and Delivery
Once your commission is finished I’ll send you a watermarked image of the final piece (or not, if you chose for it to be a surprise) along with an invoice for the remaining amount. Once the remaining half of the payment has been accepted I’ll send it out in the mail within 2-3 days. All packages ship via USPS and usually take about 2-5 business days to receive. When it’s been received and you’ve seen it, I post on time lapse videos, pictures, and other related content (with your permission, if you’d like it to remain private just let me know in Step 1).
If you have specific time constraints please be open about them in your initial request. Time constraints will change the final price and amount of detail that can be provided. Additional revisions, size, amount of detail, shipping delays, etc. can all have an effect on the total cost.
Request a commission:
Fill out the form below to send me all the details about what you’re looking for. Keep an eye on your email for a follow up from me (see Phase 1 above). Submitting this form is not an agreement accepting the commission, but rather a consultation to make sure this is a good fit for both of us.
